With Pioneer, we have hunting tags ready to go. Nearly all species can be hunted on the spot (as per pricelist), and the limited species that can’t be hunted on the spot, can be arranged with 1 month notice. This hunt will take place in the Waterberg area of South Africa. You will stay at our privately owned Berchtesgaden Game Ranch in the Waterberg Biosphere, Limpopo, South Africa.

Our head Professional Hunter and camp master is Martin Snyman, who has hunted every species on the continent, and professionally in all Southern African nations.
Other than the team dedicated to making your experience exceptional, we aim to please when it comes lodging, dining, trophy quality and the hunting experience itself. This hunt will be commenced from our main lodge from where you will depart for your hunt every morning. At Berchtesgaden, we do selective hunting on breeding stock, and focus on bow hunting. For our rifle hunting clients, we are surrounded by hunting concessions on all sides. We have forged great relations with the large hunting ranches around us which enables us to have diverse habitats & options for all species. This ensures a greater chance of success on all your hunting tags.
You will be flying into OR Tambo International in Johannesburg from where, depending on your flight times, you will drive directly to the ranch, or spend a night at our guesthouse near the airport to rest before your hunting days start. The drive to Berchtesgaden is a mere 2.5 hours from departure to arriving at our luxurious African lodge.
You will spend the remainder of your hunting time at Berchtesgaden. If you have any excursions planned during your hunt, this too will be from our lodge. We ensure that all excursions are comfortably close to our front gates.
